Steve Foley With Attitude
San Diego Chargers linebacker, Steve Foley, will not receive his $775,000 base salary this season because he has just been placed on the non-football injured reserve after being shot twice by an off-duty Coronado police officer this past Sunday. Foley, who recently got out of trouble with the San Diego authorities on charges of resisting arrest, battery on a police officer and public drunkenness was supposedly seen weaving in and out of traffic on the freeway at speeds up to 90 mph, while almost colliding with several other vehicles. When Foley finally pulled over, he began to approach the off-duty police officer, put his right hand in his pocket and was shot twice before falling to the ground. Foley is said to be in stable conditions. More to come once we get it. My Football Store, we are to football news as Steve Foley is to N.W.A’s, “F the police” song.
