One guy, two dogs and Snoop doggy doll

Hi, this is Scott sponsored by HP and, in accordance with an opportunity that I found on PPP, I have a story to tell. This year, for Christmas, I stayed in Las Vegas instead of going home to spend the holidays with my family because I have my two Springer Spaniel dogs with me and had no one to take care of them. Sure, you could say, why didn’t you just board them but, I would reply and tell you that the last time I boarded my dogs for two days and one night, they were all out of wack when I picked them up. Apparently, they did not do #2 while they were at the kennel so, as soon as we got home, they immediately went to the bathroom on my apartment floor and, when I managed to get them outside, they stayed squatting for like 20 minutes thereafter. Also, they seemed kind of scared, which is not like my boys, they are normally sweet and trusting. So, I am kind of against the whole boarding thing now.

With regards to flying them, not too sure how easy it would be for two dogs, two carriers and my bags to make it through an airport. Aslo, finding a non stop flight (so I would not have to re-board them) was pretty much impossible (if it was it was real expensive) this time of year. Plus, they are old and I don’t think all that stress would be good for them. Besides me not really liking to board them or fly them, I almost lost them in the hurricane, so I really have become totally attached and worried about their future safety. Originally, I was planning on driving down there with them but, driving for three days and missing out on that much work would have hit me hard in the energy and financial catagories so I reconsidered and decided against it.

So, as the title implies, for Christmas, it was one guy, two dogs and Snoop doggy doll, just chilling. I kept busy with work and rest but, still, it was a Christmas like no other for me. I am used to a big family get together and great food. Instead, I cooked some food for myself (which was delicious) and used my phone to communicate with my family and friends back home. Not to mention, Saint Nick did not leave any presents for me either. I am sure that I will get a few once I make it back home in about a week but, it still is not the same as receiving them Christmas eve or Christmas morning.

Ted, ’tis is the season to be jolly and ’tis is the season for giving (and receiving) so, if you would like to give me some HP gear like maybe a digital camera or something tight like that, your kindness would be much appreciated. (I don’t see how I can shoot my eye out with HP gear so, it will definitely be safe for me, my two dogs and Snoop doggy doll). If not, no worries, I still love PPP and what they have done for me thus far.

Ted, do you recall the song when Justin Timberlake says, “cry me a river”? Well, Ted, I mean, kindest Ted, this is the river I have cried for you. I hope you are knee deep in sympathy and decide that some HP gear would help to soak up my tears. Happy Holidays, Ted, and the rest of the PPP crew, please keep on doing what you do. My Football Store, one guy, two dogs and Snoop D O double G doll.

Yours truly,
Scott

p.s. I am really fine without the gear, Tedley, if I can call you Tedley, but, if you do want to pass it on, I would glady accept your offering. Honestly, I just want the Postie Patrol to roll out to Vegas; you can keep your @#m$ HP gear. Just playing, Ted. Thanks again.

[…] After I got home yesterday from a friendly business meeting/consultation for lunch at a restaurant in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, I ran my finger across my mouse pad and was alerted by my Gmail Notifier that I had a new comment on My Football Store. As usual, I immediately logged in to my dashboard and was informed, by Julie’s comment, that I had been named by PPP as a winner of some HP gear. I then went to PPP’s blog to discover that this was no mistake nor trick, I had been selected and given attention from PPP regarding my post and its success in the PPP contest. […]
